BIOGRAPHY
Kamil “Seymour The Artist” Cejmer is an artist, producer and sound designer born in Poland and raised in the Netherlands from the age of three.
His musical journey started at 15, when he picked up the guitar and began developing his ear for melody, rhythm and emotion.
In 2020, at 22, he started releasing music under the name MC Kamol, putting out a small number of EPs and singles while developing his voice as a rapper, writer and producer.
In 2024, he chose to leave the MC Kamol name behind and begin a new chapter as Seymour The Artist. The shift marked a deeper artistic reset: a move toward more mature writing, darker atmosphere, stronger identity and a sound rooted in hip-hop, soul, noir-inspired emotion and experimental production.
In January 2025, he released his first EP under the Seymour name, Wrath, marking the beginning of a new era in his personal music career.
Alongside his own music, Seymour is building Improv Lab Sounds as a creative lab for original sound kits, beats, production tools and artist-driven music projects. His current focus includes the NEHH sound-pack series and the development of Nite NOIR, a dark, cinematic project blending hip-hop, soul, poetry and nocturnal atmosphere.
